Open Sesame

OpenSesame is a publisher of online training courses for business. The OpenSesame plugin will be available in Totara 2.7.2 and 2.6.19.

This new plugin allows you to sign up for OpenSesame Plus subscription and access the large catalogue directly from your Totara site.

Using Open Sesame

Registration is a multi stage process.

1. First register your server from Site administration > Courses > OpenSesame > Sign up for access.
2. The next step is to confirm creation of OpenSesame user account. After that you will be able to access the OpenSesame Plus catalogue.
3. You can subscribe to OpenSesame Plus from the embedded courses catalogue.

The subscriptions is "per seat", this means you pay access to all courses for a selected number of users. The payment options are Credit Card or invoice. The payment process is initiated by selecting a course bundle.

After the content packages are downloaded to your site you can either select them when adding SCORM activities or use the Create courses link.
